Wauwatosa Man Dies In I-94 Crash In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, WI — Authorities say a 31-year-old man from Wauwatosa was hit and killed by the driver of a semi truck on Sunday on I-94 near Barker Road in the Town of Brookfield.

According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's office, sheriff's deputies responded to the scene of the crash just after 6 a.m. Sunday. Investigators learned that the driver of a semi truck, a 52-year-old man, was heading west when he hit the man from Wauwatosa, who was on foot.

Authorities say the Wauwatosa man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Traffic investigators from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate the crash, and the victim's name is being withheld due to pending notification of the family.
