Pink Hair Extensions for Breast Cancer Awareness: Off Broadway Salon in Brookfield's Sendik's Towne Centre will donate the proceeds of $10 pink hair extensions for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Homecoming Week: for Brookfield Central High School, including a chili dinner and football game Friday and dance Saturday.
Drop off worn, damaged US flags: North Shore Bank in October is collecting worn flags at locations including the two branches in Brookfield,
15700 W. Bluemound Rd. and 15830 W. Capitol Dr.
Kids day: Kids Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Brookfield Chiropractic, 15010 W. Greenfield Ave. Features: a bounce house, foam playground and marble wall, Brewers Racing Sausages, clowns and the Monkey Joe’s mascot. Children can enter a fire truck, tour an ambulance and see a police squad. A raffle with a bicycle and other gift cards. Doctors from Brookfield Chiropractic will provide free spinal screenings. Brookfield Farmers Market: From 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, the Brookfield Farmers Market is held in the parking lot and Civic Plaza next to City Hall, 2000 N. Calhoun Rd.
