"Weird Al" Yankovic To Promote Children's Book At Barnes & Noble

"Weird Al" Yankovic -- yeah, the guy who sang "White & Nerdy" and "Eat It" -- has written his second children's book and he'll be doing a book signing at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Barnes & Noble bookstore, 95 N Moorland Rd.

Yankovic's book, titled My New Teacher and Me!, is about a boy named Billy, whose imagination doesn't quite mesh with his new teacher's plans.

"Mr. Booth is his new teacher - a serious man with a strict lesson plan. When the irresistible force of Billy's unrestrained creativity meets the immovable object of Mr. Booth's fixed worldview, one thing is obvious: someone is going to learn a lot this school year," according to a press release.
