Welcome back Wisconsin: The 3rd Annual Wisconsin Pickleball Open Hosted by the Kelly Johnson Foundation

The Kelly Johnson Foundation is excited for the return of its Pickleball Tournament in Wisconsin on July 13th, the first since 2019.

BROOKFIELD, WISCONSIN: This July, the Kelly Johnson Foundation is excited to host this year’s installment of the Pickleball Open back to Wisconsin for the 3rd Annual Wisconsin Pickleball Open. It will be held on Sunday, July 13th, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM CST, the day after the conclusion of the 12th Annual Johnson Summer Classic.

This local pickleball tournament is set to be hosted annually as an exciting addition to the various sporting events that the Kelly Johnson Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to give back to schools and communities while encouraging individual’s goals and passions, is proud to organize. The event will be held at Wray Park, 1430 Jaclyn Dr, Brookfield, WI 53045.

The event will showcase a plethora of adult doubles divisions, including Men's Doubles (3.0-3.5, 4.0-4.5), Women's Doubles (3.0-3.5, 4.0-4.5), and Mixed Doubles (3.0-3.5, 4.0-4.5). Finally, we are pleased to announce the return of the Men's Singles Division, the first time Wisconsin will see this format in the third installment of this Pickleball Open. Those who are interested in the event may participate as a player, volunteer, or sponsor. Deadlines to sign up are July 10th, 2025, the day the draws will be posted.

Our organization and tournament founder, Kelly Johnson, expressed her excitement for the return of this tournament to Wisconsin by sharing what hosting these tournaments means to her. She says, “We’re thrilled to bring back our pickleball tournament for its third year — and the first time since 2019. This event is more than a game; it’s a way to connect our Wisconsin community, support a great cause, and celebrate the spirit of coming back together.”

The 3rd Annual Wisconsin Pickleball Open is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors and volunteers who share the foundation's commitment to promoting community through sports and fostering a love for pickleball. The entry fee to participate as a player is $50 per Team ($25 per player). All proceeds will go towards the Johnson Family Scholarship for highschool seniors.
