• Former Cudahy YMCA could become community rec center run by school districts (jsonline.com) — Cudahy and South Milwaukee school districts are exploring a joint purchase of the former YMCA on E. College Ave. to create a shared community recreation center, potentially raising local taxes through Fund 80. Officials are still inspecting the building, estimating renovation costs, and finalizing partnership details before making a formal offer, with a public informational meeting set for Dec. 17.
   

• Cudahy school employee charged with sexual assault of a child who was a student (tmj4.com) — A Cudahy School District employee has been charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Cudahy High School student, and is now on administrative leave while the case proceeds. Authorities are investigating whether there are additional victims and urge anyone with information to contact Cudahy police. The district says student safety is its top priority and is offering counseling support.
