Brush Drop-Off After Storms: Franklin Public Works Open Through Friday

Franklin Public Works on Ryan Road will be open until Friday for residents to drop off brush after Monday's storm.

FRANKLIN, WI — The brush drop-off area at Franklin's Department of Public Works will be open for residents until Friday afternoon for people to clean up after Monday's storm, the city announced on its website.

The site is located at 7979 West Ryan Road. People can drop off brush for the remainder of the week, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Typically, Franklin residents can expect the recycling center to be open on just Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Thousands of people in and around Franklin lost power into Tuesday morning after the storm, the We Energies tracker showed.

More storms could be headed our way Wednesday evening, with the National Weather Service predicting the storms to roll over the Lake Michigan shoreline area after 9 p.m.
