• Franklin mayor investigated for possible misconduct, search warrant says (fox6now.com) — Franklin residents should know that Mayor John Nelson is under investigation by West Allis police for alleged misuse of city resources and a possible conflict of interest involving marketing and social media work. Nelson has not been charged and previously faced public scrutiny over an unrelated investigation from his time as a Waterford police lieutenant. He has indicated he may address the latest concerns soon.
