Horror Films Return To Milky Way Drive-in: 2021 'Fright Nights'
This Milwaukee area drive-in is bringing horror films back to the big screen through October.
FRANKLIN, WI — This year's Halloween lineup at the Milky Way Drive-In theater plans to feature familiar movies such as The Goonies and Addams Family, as well as contemporary titles like Midsommar and Hereditary.
Those looking for a family-friendly spook can expect to see Monsters Inc., Jurrasic Park, Casper, Beetlejuice, Goosebumps and more, according to a news release from Roc Ventures. See a full schedule of movies here.
The more seasoned horror movie fanatics may also know some of the other titles well: The Babadook, Cabin In The Woods, Insidious, and longtime Halloween staple, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The truly horrifying flicks will air on the outdoor screen at Ballpark Commons in Franklin throughout October, with the more family-friendly movies sprinkled throughout.

"Scary movies are great, but scary movies at the drive-in are even greater," said Mike Zimmerman, CEO of ROC Ventures. "All month long in October, we're sharing ‘fright flicks’ in their natural habitat."

Tickets to the movies, which are frequently double features, run at $35. Tickets are available at milkywaydrivein.com.
Located nearby the drive-in theater is also The Hill Has Eyes, a 45-acre outdoor haunt.
