How To Watch Franklin Sabers Face Off Against Sun Prairie Friday

MADISON, WI — The Franklin Sabers will play against Sun Prairie at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison Friday for a shot at winning the 2021 WIAA Division 1 State Championship title.

The Wisconsin High School Football State Championship game will kick off at 4 p.m. The undefeated Sabers have won numerous accolades recently as the championship game has inched closer. Their opponent, the Sun Prairie Cardinals, is also undefeated.

TMJ4 recently awarded the Sabers with their "Team of the Week" distinction. Ahead of Friday's game, Sabers' player Myles Burkett recalled his early days of playing football with TMJ4's Lance Allan. "Now we're walking into Camp Randall for a gold ball," he told the outlet.

According to the WIAA website, the main video streaming option will be available through Bally Sports Wisconsin, which is available with most cable packages. The stream is available here. The website will likely ask for details to log into your cable provider.

Apps for Bally Sports Wisconsin can also be downloaded onto phones.

Radio

Radio will also present the Franklin vs. Sun Prairie game. According to WIAA's website, WTLX, WOKY and WLSP-LP will all stream the game.

In-Person

If the Sabers win Friday, there is barbecue to look forward to.

Billy Sims BBQ in Franklin announced this week it will hold a watch party for the game at 4 p.m. Friday with free soda at the 7358 West Rawson Avenue location in Franklin.

If Franklin Football wins, the franchise said it will hand out free pulled pork sliders on Saturday to celebrate.

According to a newsletter from the Franklin Public School District, people may also be able to watch and listen to the game via these outlets: Spectrum Channel 21, U-Verse 744 or 1744, DirecTV Channel 669 and the Big 920 AM radio. The district cautioned, however, that they have not vetted whether or not these outlets will play the game.
