Industrial Building Proposed For Franklin Near 27th And Oakwood
The speculative industrial space would be built near Hickory Street and Oakwood Road, City of Franklin Plan Commission documents say.

FRANKLIN, WI — More industrial space could be on the way for Franklin near Oakwood Road and 27th Street. A speculative industrial building proposal is set for discussion at the city's Plan Commission on Thursday.
The building, a 271,800 square foot space, would be constructed near the proposed Saputo Cheese facility. Manufacturing or warehousing could eventually make use of the space. HSA Commercial, the developer that has proposed the new building, estimated the project value for site work and the development of the building to be $20 million, City of Franklin documents show.
On March 17, the Plan Commission is again set to review a request by HSA to allow e-commerce and other distribution companies to use the proposed Oakwood building, according to a report by The Milwaukee Business Journal.
