Intoxicated Driver Crosses Centerline, Crashes Into Vehicle: Police
A West Bend man was arrested on multiple charges after the crash, according to the latest publicly reported Franklin Police Department logs.

FRANKLIN, WI — A driver crossed the centerline in the 8400 block of Ryan Road on April 6 around 10:30 p.m. and crashed into another vehicle containing children, according to the latest call logs reported by the Franklin Police Department.
Everyone involved in the crash was treated for injuries at a nearby hospital, logs say. The suspect, a West Bend man who police say was intoxicated during the crash, had a firearm with him.
Field sobriety determined he was intoxicated, logs say, and the man was charged with operating while intoxicated-3rd causing injury, recklessly endangering safety and endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon. The suspect was turned over to County Jail.

- Several vehicles were broken into when they were parked in the Franklin Business Park on Monday, police posted to Facebook. Someone smashed several of the vehicles' windows and stole multiple things, police said.
- A resident on the 7800 block of Scepter Drive told police someone damaged his bedroom window by shooting two BBs on April 4 around 9:30 p.m., logs say.
- A Franklin resident was arrested for theft on April 5 after police say he took things from someone's vehicle near the 6600 block of Robinwood Lane around 8 p.m. The person also had a warrant through Franklin police for possession of THC, logs say.
- Police took someone into custody for disorderly conduct and obstructing after he was seen going through mailboxes near the 6500 block of 27th Street around 1 p.m. on Sunday. Police said the man refused to identify himself to police and created a disturbance, according to logs.
