Leaf Collection In Franklin: Leaf Pick Up Dates
Franklin will have crews coming by for leaf collection during these dates over the fall of 2021.
FRANKLIN, WI — With October here and the cooler fall air, plenty of leaves will soon be headed to the ground in Franklin. As trees shed their foliage, the leaves will pile on the ground.
Each fall, crews come by to collect the piles of leaves that Franklin residents rake to the curb in an effort to keep the yard clean. This year, things are mostly the same, but getting rid of your excess leaves may be complicated by the premature closure of Franklin's disposal site.
Another important note for leaf collection: All leaves and yard waste must be placed in brown compostable yard bags. Plastic bags will not be accepted, including those labeled as compostable. A 32-gallon trash container can also be used instead of paper bags.
