Lions Legend Park 2022 Summer Concert Series Begins In June

FRANKLIN, WI — A free summer concert series featuring oldies, blues, rock, classical and more is coming to Lions Legend Park in Franklin from June through August.

The series invites people to bring a chair and enjoy the music on several Sunday afternoons throughout the summer at the park's bandshell, 8030 Legend Drive, according to the city's May newsletter.

Each concert will begin at 1:30 p.m., according to the Franklin Park Concerts website. The organization's aim is to provide free concerts with a range of performances, made possible largely through donations. 2022 marks the 11th year that the organization is bringing concerts to Franklin.

Here's the lineup for summer 2022:

• June 26: AARPers Bizarre playing classic rock, blues and country.
• July 10: Close Enuf playing '50s-'80s rock and classics.
• July 24: Swing of Pearls playing '40s big band music.
• Aug. 7: Concord Chamber Orchestra playing classical symphony music.
• Aug. 21: Floor It playing Rockabilly, '60s instrumentals and British invasion.
