According to the complaint filed in Milwaukee County Court on Sunday, Olson had made small talk with the woman he would soon abduct in Franklin on Nov. 23. The woman told police he introduced himself in the restaurant's bar as "Mario," the complaint said.

Olson got in the woman's car as she was leaving and ordered her to drive and asked for pain medications, the complaint said. She told police at one point the man got mad and took control of the vehicle, according to the complaint.

The night of Nov. 23, Olson stopped near Vliet and went into an alley in search of a drug dealer, the woman told police in the complaint. She didn't try to leave that time, telling police "she is old, has arthritis, and is not able to move fast," the complaint said. When the man returned he made her drink something and she doesn't remember anything else until the following morning, the complaint alleges.

The woman told police she made her escape on the morning of Thanksgiving, when the man parked the car in the 3800 block of 108th Street in Greenfield, according to the complaint. She crawled over the console into the driver seat after she was unable to open her door and rolled down the window and flagged a passing driver, the complaint said.

The person who stopped told police they saw the car with its flashers on and a woman franticly waving out of the window. The woman told the bystander she was abducted, and he called 911, he told police in the complaint. The encounter had left the woman with extreme difficulty walking plus a raspy voice due to a lack of beverages and sleep, the complaint said.

Police Found Five Fraudulent Charges On Woman's Card

Police found five fraudulent purchases totaling over $270 were made on the woman's credit card when she said she was kidnapped, according to the complaint. The purchases occurred at primarily gas stations in Oak Creek, Greendale and Milwaukee, the complaint said.

Police arrested Olson on Nov. 29 after an officer saw him pushing a bicycle across Rawson Avenue, the complaint said. Police used a Taser on him after a foot chase and took him into custody, the complaint said.

After Olson's arrest, police linked him to a Nov 29. burglary in the 7200 block of South 35th Street, according to the complaint. The resident told police a bike was missing from their garage, and that there were numerous apparent prybar marks on the home's door, the complaint said.

Then on Nov. 30, a resident in the same block reported a burglary to their recreational vehicle, the complaint said. The RV owner told police someone had used the vehicle's toilet even though it was already winterized and cleaned, the complaint said.
