Man Taken Into Custody After Threats Toward Police + Backpack Stolen

FRANKLIN, WI — Police took a Franklin man into custody on May 9 in the 4600 block of Hilltop Lane after he made a threat about killing police officers, the Franklin Police Department reported in its latest call logs.

Police said the man sent an email threatening officers and a district attorney with pipe bombs and molotov cocktails, and threats he was going to kill his relatives. Police say charges were referred to the District Attorney's Office.
