FRANKLIN, WI — During a meeting Thursday, Franklin's Community Development Authority approved initial plans for a Mequon-based company to establish a 12,000 square foot office and warehouse in Franklin.

The company, Data Financial Inc, and the developer, MLG Development Inc, submitted initial site plans to the city in August. The Authority's approval moves the business closer to the construction of a 12,600 square foot facility near 4765 West Oakwood Park Drive.

"Good news from tonight," Mayor Steve Olson said during the Plan Commission meeting later that day, "The CDA approved a new business here in the City of Franklin that would move from Mequon to here."
