FRANKLIN, WI — The Milwaukee Milkmen are set to return to Franklin Field on May 13 for their first home game of the 2022 season.
The baseball team is part of the American Association league. Its first game will be against the Lake Country Dockhounds, with the first pitch expected to cross the plate at 6:35 p.m., according to a news release the team put out in March.
“We feel so enormously fortunate to be back in action,” said Milkmen Manager Anthony Barone in the news release. “The whole team has been counting down the days until we can get on the diamond again.”

The first home opener will kick off a season full of specialty games, such as a Star Wars night in June, or a Princesses and Superheroes game in August, according to the news release. Fun and games will happen between each inning, especially from the team's mascot, "Bo Vine," and parking at Franklin Field is free.
The Milkmen finished third in the American Association North Division in 2021 after a playoff run and wild card game. In 2020, the team took home the championship.
