Minivan Shot At During Road Rage On Loomis Road: Police

A gunshot hit a minivan during a road rage incident Monday near Loomis and Ryan Roads, Franklin police said.

FRANKLIN, WI — A road rage incident on Loomis Road ended with a minivan being hit by a gunshot Monday morning, according to Franklin police.

The minivan driver told police he was headed west near Ryan Road around 10:30 a.m. when the driver of a silver Kia SUV became aggressive and a passenger fired a gun toward him, according to a news release from police.

The minivan driver was not injured but his car was hit by the gunshot, police said.

Parts of Loomis Road were closed after the incident as police searched for evidence.

Police asked anyone who may have witnessed the incident and people who were on Loomis Road between Drexel and 124th Street around 10:20-10:30 a.m. on Monday to contact Franklin Sergeant Jermy Fadness at 414-425-2522.
