'The Wall That Heals': Vietnam War Memorial Bound For Franklin
The traveling replica of the memorial is coming to Franklin this summer, and the city is seeking special volunteer ambassadors to help.

FRANKLIN, WI — The Wall That Heals, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC, is coming to Franklin in June, according to the city's website.
Patch reported the city was discussing a contract on possibly bringing the wall to town in December of 2021. The city now says on its website that the replica is indeed coming from June 29-July 3.
The memorial is a slightly scaled-down replica of the one in Washington. It travels alongside an education center. The wall will be free and open to the public to view for 24 hours per day when it is in town, according to the city's website.

"Bringing TWTH to Franklin is an honor and provides an opportunity for the souls enshrined on the Memorial to exist once more among family and friends in the peace and comfort of familiar surroundings," the city says on its website.
