Woman Cited After Road Rage + Arrest After Light Pole Crash: Police

FRANKLIN, WI — A woman was arrested around noon on April 15 on the 6700 block of 27th Street for disorderly conduct after she "brake checked" another driver, swore, and told her she had a gun, according to the latest call logs reported by the Franklin Police Department.

Police did not find any firearm during and investigation, and the woman was cited and released after the encounter, logs say.

  • A Franklin man was arrested for operating while intoxicated near 51st Street and Xavier Drive on Sunday after police say he refused to comply with officers during a traffic stop, resulting in police tasing him, according to logs. Police took a breath sample which indicated a prohibited alcohol concentration, logs say. He was cited and released.
  • A Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstructing and having warrants in the 6700 block of 27th Street on April 14 around 4 p.m. after police were called out for a report that the man was firing a BB gun in the nearby Walmart, according to logs. Police say the man provided a false name, and that he was turned over to the Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility.
  • A Franklin man was arrested on April 12 around 1 a.m. for operating while intoxicated and causing property damage hit and run after police discovered a light pole near 9700 Drexel Avenue was hit, logs say. Police say pieces of the suspect vehicle were found in the roadway, and that they found a vehicle in a nearby driveway that matched the damage, which led them to the man. The man was cited and released, logs say.
