Work On Ryan Road In Franklin: Public Comment Meeting Planned
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has scheduled a meeting for people to offer their comments about the upcoming WIS-100 project.

FRANKLIN, WI — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation scheduled a meeting on June 1 for the public to offer comments on the upcoming reconstruction of WIS 100/Ryan Road between St. Martins Road and 60th Street.
Proposed improvements to the roadway have included resurfacing, pavement replacement, reconstruction, and the addition of a multi-use trail, according to a news release from WisDOT. The open house meeting will take place 5-7 p.m. at Franklin Public Library, 9151 West Loomis Road.
WisDOT is looking for public input on the many proposed improvements for the current and longer-term needs of the road. The existing pavement and culverts are deteriorating, and existing bridges are in need of minor repairs, WisDOT said. The upcoming project will address those issues, as well as traffic signals and the current "substandard" bicycle accommodation.
