Congratulations to Baird Elementary School teacher Shana Espinosa for earning her National Board Teacher Certification! Shana is a Spanish-Bilingual 2nd grade teacher at Baird. National Board Certification is a performance-based, peer-reviewed process that requires teachers to demonstrate advanced knowledge, skills and practice in their subject area through portfolio entries and a computer-based assessment.
