“Our district staff continues to work diligently with students to meet their needs academically, as well as socially and emotionally,” Kim Amidzich, Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Greendale Schools said in a statement. ”Greendale students perform well on standardized measures, and these results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty, students, and families.”
“Particularly noteworthy in this report card cycle is the graduation rate gap where Greendale High
School (and subsequently the district) received a score of 50 out of a possible 50 indicating there is no disparity in graduation rates between ability, economic and ethnic groups in our district,” Amidzich said.
“Greendale Schools’ staff has been working for the last several years to understand the other gaps that might impact a student’s college and career readiness,” Amidzich added. “We are working to remove barriers in opportunity and engagement for our students to ensure every Greendale student has access to the rigorous coursework and co-curricular experiences highlighted in the Redefining Ready benchmarks of college and career readiness.”
