Why Go: Your kids will love some of the greatest circus performers in the world in a display of strength, skill and beauty. With lots of animals and a bit of magic, what’s not to love?
Pricing: Tickets start at $12.
• Storybook Tales: Once Upon a Train
Where/When: Mitchell Park Conservatory (The Domes)/ongoing exhibit through April 3.
Why Go: See Thomas the Train and other G-scale trains as they weave their way through scenes of your favorite tales such as Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and more. In addition, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, there will be a collectible all-scale train exhibit. Also, the weather stinks outside, but it's great in The Domes.
Pricing: $6.50 for adults 18 and older, $5 for children ages 6-17, free for children under 6.

Where/When: Retzer Nature Center - Charles Z. Horwitz Planetarium, S14 w28167 Madison St., Waukesha/Saturday, 11 a.m.
Why Go: This children's participatory sky show will make the attendees familiar with Joe Star, Marsha Moon and Mike Meteor. The children also will have a chance to name the planets. For kids grades K-2.
Pricing: $3 children 12 and under and seniors, $4 adults
• Beastly Bowl-A-Thon for the Milwaukee County Zoo
Where/When: AMF Bowlero, 11737 W. Burleigh St., Wauwatosa/Saturday, 11:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.
Why Go: Get some exercise and help raise money for zoo animals. Entry fee includes three games of bowling, shoe rental, munchies (including samples of Palermo's Pizza), entry into a door-prize drawing and a keepsake. Register online or by phone at (414) 258-2333. Registrations will also be accepted the day of the event.
Pricing: entry fee of $20 per bowler, $5 for non-bowling guest
• Woody and the Gang at the IMAX
Where/When: Humphrey IMAX Dome Theater/Friday, 5:30 p.m.; Saturday, 4:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.; Sunday, 4:30 p.m.
Why Go: This is your last chance to see Toy Story 3 on the impressive IMAX screen. The viewing was just extended through this weekend, so round up the kids and take them to see some of the most impressive toys around.
Pricing: $9 adults; $7 children
