No one was hurt because the shop was closed, and restoration work is already underway as the owners hope to reopen by Friday, though that timeline is uncertain. • Bandfest Day 2 brings more pre-Rose Parade musical thunder (dailybreeze.com) — Greendale High School’s Marching Band proudly represented Greendale at Bandfest Day 2 in Pasadena, performing among elite groups headed to the Rose Parade. Their appearance put the village on a national stage as crowds enjoyed high-energy music and pageantry ahead of New Year’s Day.
