Greendale High School Getting New Scoreboards With the Help of the Booster Club
The Greendale Panther Athletic Booster Club and the school district are splitting the costs.

will soon be getting rid of its 23 year old scoreboards and replacing them with new ones thanks to the efforts of the Greendale Panther Athletic Booster Club and the school board.
The unanimously voted on Dec. 19 to match funding raised by the booster club to replace the scoreboards.
Phase one involves replacing the main and secondary scoreboard, sponsor section and installation at a total estimate cost of $12,000. The second phase involves one set of stat panels and installation at a cost of $7,700, totaling the project cost at $19,700.

The booster club is contributing $6,000, the high school is contributing $1,000 and the board approved $5,000 from the Community Service Fund 80 for phase one.Â
Coaches cannot use the current scoreboards during practices, but the new wireless scoreboards have the capacity for coaches to use for drills during practices. The new wireless board allows coaches the ability to use it during practices and also has side panels that track statistics for individual players throughout the game.

The booster club has committed to fund half of phase two right away and will look to securing an additional $3,850 from district matching funds in the near future in order to complete phase two of the project. The total district investment would be $8,850 for both phases.
