Election Day is finally here, and we want you to be a part of it by sharing your experiences, or your choices, with us.

As of 11:25 p.m.  that most of today's Greendale voters believe that the number of Milwaukee County supervisors should be reduced from 18 to nine and make the position part-time rather than full-time.

Updates from Highland View and College Park Elementary

Update 5:27 p.m.

Both chief inspectors said that every is going fine.

"Everything is going very well," said the chief inspector at Highland View. "The only confusion is that some people still think they need to show us their ID...In February we did have to see people's ID and that add a little bit of time to the process.

I'm surprised we haven't seen more people because Wisconsin's presidential preference is still counting this year. Many times the candidate is already decided by the time we get our chance in April."

Voter Derick Gabrys said that he tends to lean left and will vote for Obama. This time he voted for Romney instead of Santorum.

"I lean more to the left in terms of political views... I would prefer Romney run against Obama. I think he's the best candidate. I'm not very impressed by the other people even though I'm democrate I'd rather him win if it's someone from the Republican party."

Updates from Greendale High School Poll

Updated at 2:48 p.m.

Poll chief inspector Jean Anczak at Greendale High School said it's been smooth sailing today. 

"We've had no trouble with any of the people taking in the changes."

In regards to the recent she said she believes that it "should be set so that people are not going to be confused. You wonder sometimes if the changes are going to keep people away from the polls because they are giving up and don't want be conforming to the changes...They are happy to comply but they need to know what to comply to."

Sandy Hammel of Greendale voted for Mitt Romney but said that it was a tough decision between Romney and Santorum.

"I voted for Mitt Romney because we have to get our country back," Hammel said. "I was born in a free country under the constitution. I don't want  a socialist country. He will bring jobs back because he's good business man...I really like Santorum too because I have no qualms against Santorum. It was a very hard decision."

Updates from the Greendale Safety Center Poll

Updated at 12:49 p.m.

Poll Chief Inspector Paul Elliot said that he's had a lot of older people come in this morning and so far everything seems to be running smoothly.

He did say that some people are a bit confused the with the referendum that asks if the county board should

"We've had a few other issues with the referendum," Elliot said. "People get confused with the referendum. They'll mark one and they'll want to change. But once you mark it you can't change it. You need a new ballot."

Greendale resident Terry Van Gorder said he voted for Rick Santorum because, "He's more in line with what I believe in... Just a lot of things, nothing specific."

Betsy Lutzew said that she's not too fond of anyone on the ballot but voted for Mitt Romney because "he's less conservative....I don't like any of our choices anyway on either side."
