Macy’s Supports Greendale Community With a Day of Charitable Shopping

Customers are able to enjoy a sneak peak of Macy's Southridge store and support their favorite charities before the store's official grand opening on Wednesday, March 14 .

In celebration of their opening at , Macy’s will host a day of charitable shopping benefiting the Milwaukee area and the Greendale Community with their Charity Shopping Day on Saturday, March 10.

This one day shopping event, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., is designed to support more than 40 local non-profit organizations to raise vital funds for their ongoing programs. Tickets will be available to purchase at the store the day of the event.

Organizations that sell $5 “shopping pass tickets” to supporters, keep the entire proceeds, including some local Greendale organizations. Ticket holders then use their tickets at Macy’s Southridge on Saturday, March 10, 2012 to get a sneak preview of the new store and receive the following exclusive offers on their purchases all day:

  • Save $10 on one regular, sale or clearance-priced purchase of $25 or more. 
  • Customers save an extra 20 percent* on regualr, sale and clearance women’s, men’s and kid’s apparel and accessories, fine and fashion jewelry, frames, bed & bath items, housewares, luggage and china. 
  • Customers save an extra 10 percent* on regular, sale and clearance electrics and electronics.
