PHOTOS: Greendale Varsity Football Players at Honor Flight
Miller Park was the site for a day of honor and remembrance for veterans from the greatest generation and then some, breaking a world record in the process.
A group of 40 Greendale High School varsity football players helped greatly with Saturday's Field of Honor at Miller Park. The boys worked the wheelchair detail by helping the older men and women veterans from World War II and their elderly relatives into the stadium using wheelchairs. After the program was over, the boys then helped the people get out of the stadium using wheelchairs and back to their vehicles.
