Results: How Late Should Village Center Shops Be Open?
The May 18 poll shows most voters believe that Village Center Shops should open as late as 7 p.m. They also voted that the shops should open on Sunday.
After some residents commented that the shops in the Village Center close too early, a poll was placed on Patch on May 18.
Quite a few shops, not all, close at 5 p.m. A number of them also close on Sundays.Â
The majority of the voters said that they would like to see stores close at 7 p.m.:

- 1% (3 votes) voted that stores should close at 5 p.m.
- 30% (70 votes) voted that stores should close at 6 p.m.
- 32% (74 votes) voted that stores should close at 7 p.m.
- 28% (65 votes) voted that stores should close at 8 p.m.
- 7% (17 votes) voted that stores should close at 9 p.m.
The majority of the voters said that they would like to see most stores open on Sundays:
- 67% (151 votes) voted "Yes" to opening most stores on Sunday
- 32% (74 votes) voted "No" to opening most stores on Sunday
Note: The poll was closed on May 30 at 5:30 p.m. This is not a scientific poll.
