Jim Schutte announced at the school board meeting on Monday night that he would be running for re-election in April.
Schutte has been part of facilities planning, budget, superintendent's advisory and friends of music committees, according to his biography on the Greendale School District website.
He was originally appointed to the school board in April 2005.
