Superintendent Candidates To Be Narrowed Down To Six
The final three candidates will be invited back to Greendale Schools to tour and do a meet and greet with the community in late July.

The is getting closer to choosing the new superintendent and will seek out community involvement in making the final selection.
 Hughes served the district as superintendent since 1996 and left the district to work as director of leadership development with Schools That Can Milwaukee. Bussiness Manager since Hughes' depature.
Ted Blaesing of Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, , has been using a leadership profile report to recruit and screen candidates. Blaesing is bringing forth a list of six candidates to the Greendale School Board next week.

The profile was compiled from community input through meetings and an online survey.
The board will be interviewing the six candidates next week and narrowing the list down to two or three finalists, said School Board President Joe Crapitto. Names of the finalists will be released and each finalist will be invited back to Greendale for an entire day to tour the schools, meet with administration and do a meet and greet with the community.

Residents, parents and students will have the opportunity to meet each candidate on July 30, 31 and Aug. 1. One candidate will attend the meet and greet session each day at the library from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The final selection will be made before the beginning of the school.Â
