Saturday Marks Greendale Open Market
The downtown farmers market is just one of the big events on tap in and around Greendale this weekend.

Looking for a few things to keep you entertained this weekend? Here are some suggestions from Patch about some cool things happening in and around the Greenfield area.
Produce, homemade goods and more: More than two dozen vendors will take over downtown on Saturday for Greendale Open Market, which runs from 8 a.m until noon. The market, held on Broad Street between Northway and Schoolway, will feature fruits, vegetables, honey, baked goods and much more. For detail, visit the Discover Greendale website.
'Les Mis' on stage: The Greendale Community Theatre will perform the musical "Les Misérables" on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Greendale High School auditorium. Tickets can be purchased through the Greendale Community Theatre website.
Kidsfest at Sendik's: A grocery store may be the last place you would expect to keep a kid entertained on a Saturday, but it turns out that there's plenty happening at the Sendik's Food Store in Franklin and Greenfield. Kids Fest, which is a daylong cornucopia of activities, features activities like flower pressing, face-painting, a magic show, and an appearance by the Milwaukee Wave. Hours vary between the two stores, but you can get more details by visiting the Sendik's website.
Cruisin' for a Cause: Help out some kids who could really use it by taking part in the ATI Foundation's third annual Cruisin-4-Kids Motorcycle Ride and Celebration. The event includes a poker run with cash prizes, and will start and finish at House of Harley-Davidson on 62nd Street and Layton Avenue. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. followed by the first bike out at 9:30 a.m. and the last bike in at 4 p.m. Proceeds go to the ATI Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping children with physical impairments in need of medical and financial resources.
