Video and Photos: Greendale Firefighters Collect Money for a Cause

Greendale Fire Fighters Local #1777 walked the streets of Greendale with boots on hand to battle against neuromuscular disease.

The firefighters collected money from motorists and pedestrians for the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Fill the Boot fundraiser on July 15  and will be doing so again on Saturday the 16th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the intersection of 76^th St.  and Grange Ave.

They hope to raise $7,500 during the collection to benefit local MDA clients and services like sending children and young adults to MDA Summer Camp in Camp Lake, funding clinic visits at Froedtert Memorial Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and financing wheelchair repairs.
