Local Business Offers $200 For Employees To Get Vaccinated

The Brass Tap in Greenfield, part of a nationwide franchise, is offering its employees gift cards to get vaccinated.

GREENFIELD, WI — The Brass Tap in Greenfield is offering employees $200 in gift cards if they get vaccinated, a double-down on the original incentive the craft beer bar offered earlier this year.

"While we are certainly not 'frontline workers,' we interact with a lot of different people every day and want to assure them we are taking every precaution we can," Greenfield franchise owner Andrew Grossman told The Milwaukee Business Journal.

The franchise originally announced a $100 gift card incentive for employees if they get vaccinated in April. Rewards included cash to spend at Target, Walmart or Amazon. That incentive has since doubled in value with a corporate decision, UrbanMilwaukee.com wrote.

People who have already gotten the vaccine and original incentive will be able to collect on the new giftcards as well, the Business Journal reported.

Grossman told the Milwaukee Business Journal that 90 percent of his 15-20 employees are already vaccinated at the Greenfield location, 7808 West Layton Avenue.
