GREENFIELD, WI — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know the individual stories behind the leaderboard.

He is my son.
What sport does the star student athlete play?
Boy’s volleyball & bowling.
Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?
He excels in his academics and athletics. He’s a 3-time state singles qualifier in bowling and headed into his senior season now. Junior year he finished 7th in the state at the state meet. He also has received all conference honors all three years and all academic honors his Junior year. He’s also captain of the high school bowling team Junior and Senior year. Academically he’s on the honor roll every semester and in the top 25% of his class. He is in Science National Junior Honor Society and has represented his class the last two years on Junior and Senior board. He also was a part of Spanish National Honor Society his Junior year. Volleyball wise he was named to 1st team all conference this year and Honorable Mention all conference his Junior year. Named team MVP and team captain his Junior and Senior years. Statistically he was in the top 10 all season among setters in the state and finished 7th in assists.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?
Works hard for what he wants.
