• Town of Hartford Police: Keep snow out of roads (gmtoday.com) — If you live in the Town of Hartford, remember that pushing or shoveling snow into the road is illegal and can bring fines up to $250 plus liability for crashes or damage. Police are reminding residents to keep snow on their own property, avoid filling ditches, and maintain clear crosswalks and visible fire numbers for emergency crews.
   

• JPD helps brighten the holidays for community members in need (gmtoday.com) — Hartford residents may be glad to know their local police department is among many agencies statewide using the Police Lights of Christmas program to quietly help people in need with gift cards. Jackson police raised over $4,000 through fun community fundraisers, already assisting residents facing grief and serious illness, and the initiative also includes West Bend, Hartford, and Wisconsin State Patrol officers.
