Another November Grass Fire: Hudson Fire Calls

A grass fire on Hwy. 35 was among the calls the Hudson Fire Department responded to from Nov. 20–27, 2013.

Wednesday, Nov. 20

At 12:39 p.m., the Hudson Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle vs. bicycle crash at S. Cove Road and Ahrens. 

Thursday, Nov. 21

  • A single-car rollover crash at 7:51 a.m. sent he HFD to eastbound I-94 at Mile 6. 
  • At 5:36 p.m., firefighters were called to a motor vehicle accident at Hanley and Carmichael Road. 
  • A fire alarm generated a call at 6:46 p.m. to 1601 Redwood Dr.

Friday, Nov. 22

  • The HFD was called to 1008 Sixth St. at 5:03 p.m. because of a smell of gas. 

Saturday, Nov. 23

  • A fire alarm generated a call to 627 Locust St. at 9:55 a.m.
  • Firefighters responded at 3:56 p.m. to a motor vehicle accident on S. 11th Street. 
  • At 9:43 p.m., the department was called to a structure fire at 2215 Mississippi St.

Wednesday, Nov. 27

  • At 5:21 a.m., the HFD responded to a grass fire at 1039 Hwy. 35 N.
