Hudson Storm Damage Drop-off Site Opens Tuesday at Noon

The storm damage drop-off site is located at the corner of Hanley and O'Neil roads near the entrance to the St. Croix Business Park. Residents are asked to use the temporary entrance on O'Neil Road.

A storm damage drop-off site will open at noon today (June 25) at the corner of Hanley and O’Neil roads near the entrance to the St. Croix Business Park.

After today, the dropp-off site will be open from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., seven days a week. until Sunday, July 14. Residents should use the temporary entrance on O’Neil Road to enter the site.

City crews will only be removing trees—and branches from trees—that were/are located in the boulevard and on city right-of-way or property.

The removal of all non-boulevard, side yard and backyard trees and limbs is the responsibility of the property owner.

The drop-off site is for city of Hudson residents only. City staff will be on-site during hours of operations to check proof of residency, so bring a drivers’ license or other form of ID to prove residency. Non-city residents should contact their local officials for information on where they can dispose of debris.

Patrol officers will monitor the site in the overnight hours. Citations will be issued as deemed necessary for any refuse being deposited by non-city residents or for the dumping of non-storm yard waste or garbage at this site.
