Wear Your Jammies to Miss Amy Benefit Breakfast & Shopping Extravaganza
Saturday morning event at Bethel Highlands will raise funds for preschool teacher Amy Betchwars' cancer treatments.

Here's a reason to get up and out on Saturday morning: You can help raise money to pay for Amy "Miss Amy" Betchwars' medical bills at the Miss Amy Benefit Breakfast & Shopping Extravaganza at Bethel Highlands.Â
The event is 8–11 a.m., featuring breakfast food donated by San Pedro Cafe. Craft vendors are donating 20 percent of their sales. The suggested minimum donation per person is $5.Â
According to the event listing at Hudson Patch:Â
"Our beloved Miss Amy (Betchwars) was diagnosed with breast cancer this last spring. She is in the midst of chemo treatments for the next several months. Â As you might imagine, a preschool teacher's salary falls a bit short when medical bills are accruing. We'd like to honor her with a benefit to help raise money toward those medical expenses!"
