'Shop and Share' and More: Hudson's Week Ahead
Tickets for 'Gladsome Tidings' holiday concerts at Hudson High School go on sale Monday at 3 p.m.

At 3 p.m., tickets go on sale to the general public for Gladsome Tidings, the 2013 Home for the Holidays Concerts at Hudson High School. The 6 p.m. performance on Sunday, Dec. 15 is sold out to choir families, but tickets remain for three other performances: Dec. 15, 8 p.m.; and Dec. 16, 5 and 7:30 p.m. See the ticket form (PDF) at the school website or by clicking the PDF thumbnail above.ÂAt 6 p.m., the Hudson Common Council Finance Committee meets at Hudson City Hall. Items on the agenda (see PDF thumbnail above) include 2013 bills, a second police department squad vehicle, a roundabout at Wisconsin and Vine streets, the Stonepipe Storm Pond, recruitment of fire department candidates and performance reviews.Â
At 7 p.m., the Hudson Common Council holds a regular meeting at Hudson City Hall. Items on the agenda (see PDF thumbnail above) include: a building permit for a commercial building at the former visitors center site; a roundabout at Wisconsin and Vine; the Stonepipe Storm pond project; a second police squad car; fire department recruitment; snow-plowing changes in the E.P. Rock School area; roof repair at First Street Facility; and the Hudson Grill alcohol license.Â

From 4–6 p.m., visit The Purple Tree for a "Shop and Share" event, with 20 percent of all purchases donated to the Habitat for Humanity Eco Village in River Falls.ÂAt 5:30 p.m., the Hudson Park Board holds a regular meeting at Hudson City Hall.Â
