The upgrades boost emergency response for survivors and children from Janesville, Beloit, and nearby communities. The article also shares key hotlines and local contacts for anyone facing abuse.

DJ Nash poured in 29 points for East, while Javonte Johnson led Parker with 16. Parker now looks for its first win Wednesday night on the road at fellow winless Sun Prairie West.

Christmas mission: Oconomowoc DECA chapter delivers gifts to Wilson Elementary (gazettextra.com) — Hundreds of Wilson Elementary students in Janesville just received personalized holiday gifts, thanks to a major “Adopt-A-School” effort by Oconomowoc High School’s DECA chapter. About 70 teens, plus the Oconomowoc mayor dressed as Santa, delivered toys and basic necessities like socks, underwear, and sleeping bags. The visit ensured every Wilson student experienced some Christmas joy, regardless of family finances.
