• Local Training Academy Gives Dodge County Officers a Cheaper, Closer Path to Certification (dailydodge.com) — Correctional officers based in Juneau and across Dodge County now have a much closer, cheaper option for required jail officer training, thanks to a new 200-hour academy run by Moraine Park Technical College. Four Dodge County officers just graduated in the program’s first class, which was shaped in part by Dodge County Sheriff’s Office instructors and is expected to ease staffing and training pressures locally.
