• Kewaunee County Giving Tree honors Sara Malay, invites community support this holiday season (kewauneecountystarnews.com) — Kewaunee County residents are being asked to support neighbors in need through the Kewaunee County Giving Tree, honoring community advocate Sara Malay. Donations of healthy, non-perishable food or money can be dropped weekdays at the Health and Human Services Building on Lincoln Street, with all contributions going to local food pantries to help families facing holiday-season food insecurity.
   

• Annual notice highlights how information will be shared during Wisconsin nuclear emergencies (wearegreenbay.com) — Wisconsin Emergency Management is outlining how it would share urgent information if there were an incident at nuclear plants affecting the state, including the decommissioned Kewaunee Power Station in Kewaunee County. The agency works with counties and media to coordinate alerts about evacuations, sheltering, food safety, and re-entry, with a Joint Information Center planned near each plant to keep residents informed.
