• Lake Hallie Police Department to partner with Family Support Center through LAPs (leadertelegram.com) — Lake Hallie residents should know their police department is now using a Lethality Assessment Protocol to better protect domestic violence victims and connect them quickly with the Family Support Center in Chippewa Falls. Officers will ask victims standardized questions at domestic calls, and high‑risk cases will be immediately linked to free, confidential advocacy and safety planning services, with more volunteers and agencies sought to expand support.
