Boy, 13, Missing From Devil's Lake Area, Handgun Taken From Home

Police on Tuesday said a 13-year-old remains missing from his Reedsburg home and that a handgun is missing from his household.

SAUK COUNTY, WI — A 13-year-old who went missing from his Reedsburg home on Monday remains missing and possibly endangered, according to police.

James B. Yoblonski was described as 5-foot 11-inches tall weighing 120 pounds with brown hair, short hair and blue-green eyes. Police said he was last seen wearing red shoes, blue jeans, an unknown shirt and a baseball cap. He has a 1/2 inch scar on the back of his neck, police said.

James was last seen Monday at his home in Reedsburg, but his last suspected whereabouts could be the Baraboo Bluffs area near the westernmost part of Devil's Lake State Park and the northern part of the Sauk Prairie Recreation area near Devil's Lake State Park.

Authorities said they recovered a vehicle possibly used by James on U.S. Highway 12, and that a handgun from his household is unaccounted for.

Sauk Co. Sheriff Chip Meister on Monday noted there was a campsite discovered in the woods nearby, according to a NBC15 report. Police also found James' phone near where the car was found, the report said.
