The owner says the car had just been jump-started and left idling to warm up. No injuries were reported, but the hood melted and the windshield shattered before Madison Fire crews arrived.
   

5. UW Health encourages living organ donation (nbc15.com) — UW Health in Madison is launching a new Living Donor Initiative to boost kidney and liver donations by 20% over the next two years. The program will expand community outreach across Wisconsin and northern Illinois, create clearer educational materials, and closely track donor health so more local patients can avoid long waits and life-threatening complications.
