Madison East High School Alum Selected for Television Academy Internship in Hollywood
Malik Terrab To Intern This Summer in Documentary Television Production

Madison East High School alumnus Malik Terrab has been selected for the prestigious Television Academy Foundation Internship program. He is one of 40 students chosen by Television Academy members from across the country for the 2025 Summer Internship program. The Foundation offers paid internships at top Hollywood studios and production companies annually to college students nationwide.
Terrab is a 2025 graduate of Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, who majored in comparative literature and minored in digital arts and Middle Eastern studies.
He will intern this summer in the documentary production department at Marwar Junction Productions through the Foundation’s program. Marwar Junction Productions is an independent production company known for creating distinctive content for television and streaming services, such as Perfect Wife: The Mysterious Disappearance of Sherri Papini on Hulu, Krishnas: Gurus. Karma. Murder on Peacock and Elizabeth Smart: Autobiography for A&E.
“Being chosen by the Television Academy Foundation is an incredible honor that fills me with gratitude and pride,” said Terrab. “It makes all the hard work, long hours and challenges feel truly worthwhile. This recognition provides invaluable motivation to keep pushing forward. As a low-income student from the Midwest without any industry connections, it’s hard to believe I made it this far.

“The thing that excites me most about this internship is the opportunity to be a part of a well-organized cohort of ambitious storytellers from diverse backgrounds,” said Terrab. “My ultimate career aspiration is to be a part of a community that tells reality-based stories at a caliber that makes people stop and consider that which they wouldn’t have otherwise.”
Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Terrab attended Madison East High School.
