Madison Native Directs New Original Play “Seven Days at Sea”

Madison, Wisconsin native Margaret Knapp will direct “Seven Days at Sea” by Light and Sound Productions at The Edge Theater, May 19-June 5.
“Seven Days at Sea,” written by Martha Hansen and directed by Margaret Knapp, will run Thursdays through Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Five older women’s lives intersect on a lesbian cruise ship. While on the cruise, the women confront truths about themselves and each other reflecting a journey through age, illness and renewed sexuality. This show is recommended for mature audiences.
Margaret Knapp grew up in Dekalb, Illinois and Madison, Wisconsin. She attended High School at Oregon Senior High in Oregon, Wisconsin and graduated from University of Wisconsin Madison as well as University of Missouri-Kansas City. Her credits include Best Actor at the 2009 "Day Tonys,” nominations for a Jeff Awards, including Best Director and Best Production for "Foxfinder" produced at Interrobang Theater Project in 2018.
