- Madison Council President Syed Abbas has announced his campaign for the newly-formed 37th District in the Wisconsin State Assembly. The district was created following the formation of new electoral maps based on data from the 2020 census. Abbas plans to focus on workforce development and environmental justice during the campaign. - The Madison Police Department has released a sketch of the department's suspect in a sexual assault case. The incident occurred in Madison's east side earlier in the week on Apr. 12. The department reports that they are working with the Wisconsin State Crime Lab to process additional evidence while searching for the suspect. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
- Do you have your visit to the Dane County Farmers' Market carefully planned out? Channel 3000 has created a list of tips and reminders for visitors to the market as it opens this weekend in Capitol Square.
